Adele joined Insmed in December 2019 as Head of Commercial Operations in EMEA and has since held positions of increasing responsibility. In November 2025, she was appointed Senior Vice President, Portfolio Strategy and Operational Excellence. Prior to joining Insmed, Adele held various roles at Shire from 2011 to 2019 in Alliance Management and Market Expansion, where she played a key role in the global expansion of the specialty pharmacy business, the establishment of Shire’s business in Japan and China, and the leadership of key global alliances. She was also Global Commercial Lead for Natpara, a product indicated for chronic hypoparathyroidism. Prior to Shire, she drove corporate development for Elan, worked in sales for Solvay, and led preclinical research for a Canadian biotech company.
Adele holds a Master of Business Administration from Henley Business School and a Master of Science in Pharmacology from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
